This lecture introduces young learners to the role of technology in modern cage farming. It explores the use of sensors and data analytics for real-time monitoring of water quality and fish behavior, as well as automated feeding systems equipped with underwater cameras to optimize feed distribution. Students will also learn about weight estimation cameras for tracking fish growth, software tools for data-driven decision-making, and how these technologies enhance efficiency, productivity, and sustainability in aquaculture.
